All-in-one solution for virtual start-up

SimulationX Virtual Machine

Manufacturers and suppliers of factory automation machinery are often confronted with rising costs for the start-up at the customer. Not until a complete machine is built tests of control programs can be started. Thus valuable development time is lost.

By allowing to control virtual machines via PLC-programs, ITI SimulationX is solving this problem and the development process is shortened considerably. Thereby the program system supports the developer through an easy usability, extendable model libraries and an open architecture.

Simultaneous Engineering of Mechanics and Control Programs

  • SimulationX Virtual Machine is a fast and realistic simulation considering physical phenomena. It enables the simulation of the real machine behavior without an expensive prototype.
  • SimulationX Virtual Machine is a life-like 3D visualization including CAD data import enables the 3D animation of the machine model - directly controlled by a PLC.
  • SimulationX Virtual Machine is a ready-to-use real-time solution. It enables the interactively test of control programs and critical states, without risks, in real-time.
  • SimulationX Virtual Machine significantly reduces engineering effort and time to market.

SimulationX Virtual Machine is ready to use in 3 steps

SimulationX Virtual Machine
  1. Generate the SimulationX model of the machine
The model can be generated manually or automatically from CAD.
  2. Choose the control device from a SimulationX library
SimulationX connects to PLCs, ServoController, Control Simulators or other control hardware(FPGA)
  3. Simulate, visualize an analyze the ITI Virtual Machine
The full SimulationX functionality is available – controlled by a PLC or other devices
