Virtual Machine and Implementation

Whilst developing machines and plants developers have to solve a variety of subtasks step by step. The ordinary way is to start with the set up of the program and test only once the machine is built – a way that is highly time consuming. Hence, particularly in the field of special purpose machinery manufacturing, where only rarely a series of the same machine type is built, precious time and money is lost. Carrying out these tasks simultaneously creates important synergies and financial benefits. At ITI we are aware of the issues. With SimulationX Virtual Machine we provide a tool to easily connect the control with the virtual machine prototype. Thereby we minimize time and cost for testing and shorten time-to-market.

Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) Simulation

In close cooperation with leading HiL system partners we provide flexible solutions for the rapid prototyping of any technical system. By using HiL technology the behavior of even most complex systems including controls can be analyzed in a sound and reliable way very quickly. SimulationX provides the ideal modeling and calculation platform by facilitating the fast, complete and efficient set up, calculation and optimization of physical plant models. An easy-to-use C-Code interface both to real time environments and MATLAB/Simulink facilitates the smooth transition to HiL simulation linked with electronic devices. In consequence, the effort for cost-intense test with prototypes can be substantially decreased.

SimulationX On-Demand

From SimulationX version 3.3 onwards we offer our customers a new licensing solution. In addition to the classical software license and time-limited rental option SimulationX will be available as OnDemand-Software.
