R&D Activities

ITI is the first-choice cooperation partner for research and development project in the industry as well as in universities and institutes.

Below, please find an abstract of our recent list of projects. If you require further information please contact us directly.

ENPROVI

Ressource and energy efficient, process integrating development bas on virtual prototypes of mobile machines (BMBF)

The reduction of the specific fuel consumption in off-highway applications and the minimization of emission are primary goals of machine manufacturers. In the scope of the project, methods and tools to determine and evaluate low-emission, power-saving powertrains in off-highway applications are set up and tested. Apart from ITI, the following project partners are involved: Takraf GmbHTechnical University of Dresden.

Further information about the project can be found online: http://www.baumaschine.de/enprovi/Home.html

SAFEDOR

Design, Operation and Regulation for SAFety

In the scope of the SAFEDOR research project (part 3.1) for the shipbuilding and marine industry ITI develops an integrated tool solution for the riliability analysis based on physical models together with the ‘Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft’, the ‘Germanischen Lloyd’, the University of Hul, and SAM Electronics.

Please find further details about the project online on http://www.safedor.org.

Depromes

Fachabteilungsübergreifender datenkonsistenter Designprozess für mechatronische Systeme

Within the joint research project Depromes ITI worked together with the Fraunhofer Institut für Werkzeugmaschinen und Umformtechnik and Karl Utz Sondermaschinen GmbH on an integrated solution for the design and the simulation of assembly plants.

The result has been an integration tool which supports the development of assembly plants in design, simulation and visualization and is therewith more efficient and timesaving.

MODELISAR

Specificationen for Model-/Software-/Hardware-in-the-loop Simulation of vehicles

'Within the ITEA2 project MODELISAR ITI worked within a German consortium of 14 industry and research partner together with 14 partner of 4 European countries with the aim to repeat Model-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop especially in the European automotive industry. Basic project aims have been the development of standardized, effective and open co-simulation platform software modules and multi-physics models as well as attached methods and tools for system development and covering.

StateSim

Modeling, Verification and Simulation of Statecharts

In today’s manufacturing industry, highly intelligent electronic components are needed for control purposes. The modeling and simulation of related control models is an extremely demanding task. Together with our partner, the ‘Fraunhofer Institut für Integrierte Schaltungen‘, we iniated the ‘StateSim’ project to model, verify and simulate state charts.
