ITI GmbH as a specialist for Computer Aided Engineering supports the students team ELBFLORACE of the technical university Dresden in developing and constructing a single-seated formula racing car. The first developed vehicle had his first on-road test at the construction challenge “Formula Student” in 2008 on the race track Hockenheimring.

With this project the team of 35 students has the possibility to strengthen their theoretical knowledge with practical experiences.

“A well-trained young engineer is the driving force for success and growth, especially for Dresden as an innovative technology site. We support the team ELBFLORACE to prove themselves in practice and to experience technology very close.

ITI supports the team with technical know how and their simulation software SimulationX which is used in designing of various vehicle systems.
